JL Filtration Inc. was founded in 1986 in Nisku, Alberta under the original name of JL Fluid Stabilizers. At the time, we were one of the only dedicated manufacturers of CRN registered, ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1 Filtration Vessels in Western Canada. By 1993, the company became the largest Western Canadian manufacturer of micron rated filter bags.
In 2002, the company became a division of Eveready Industrial Services and shortly afterwards, the name changed to JL Filtration Inc. In 2009, Clean Harbors purchased JL Filtration. In February 2020, JL Filtration was sold to Private equity groups with members including but not limited to Altos Partners LLC, Alberta Treasury Branches, and the Mikisew Group.
JL Filtration supplies a wide variety of OEM products, as well as being able to supply filter crosses with substitute products, representing Jonell, Cuno, Graver and Baldwin. Our lineup includes Air Oil Separators, Gas Coalescing Elements, Carbon Filters, Melt Blown Elements, String Cartridges, bag filters, Instrument Air Filters, Lube Filters, Pleated Elements, Air Panel Filters, dust bags, Bulk Activated Carbon, and other custom manufactured filters.
In addition to manufacturing our own line of filter bags, we can provide on-site filtration services ranging from Amine and Glycol regeneration, to contaminated water filtration and treatment for the release back to the environment, Pipeline hydrotest De-watering and all other Dewatering requirements.
