Polypropylene Filter bags are available in 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 microns felt materials and because of the polypropylene makeup, they have some oil retention.They are used in process chemical systems and water injection applications. The maximum operating temperature on this style of filter bag is 400-500 degrees “F”.
Polyester
Polyester filter bags are available in 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 micron felt materials which are used for particulate removal in water acids, caustics, and water injection where oil may be present. These bags have no oil retention because they are manufactured with polyester. The maximum operating temperature of this style of bag is 400-500 degrees “F”.
Nylon
Nylon Filter bags are used for spill cleanups, water injection, and pipeline filtration; available in 1 to 1000 micron ratings.
High-Temperature Filter Bags
